Summer Intensives with Emrys

School's not out for summer!

sc-emrys-hires.jpg

Embrace the strong energy of the sun; join me this July for the return of our Decadent Wellness Continuing Education Series. Intended for curious students and yoga teachers (continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance are available), any & all are welcome to come explore!

Wednesday, July 3rd, 6:30-8:30 pm: Hands & Wrists
From writing to typing, downward dog to handstand, your hands and wrists allow you to do everything you love. (Of course, you may not think of this until they’re not working optimally…). Learn how to give your hands the love they deserve.

Wednesday, July 10th, 6:30-8:30 pm: Feet & Ankles
The bones of your feet make up about a quarter of the bones in your body. How often do they get the attention & care they crave?  Delicate & Strong, our feet give us the foundation for a healthy, active life (& strong yoga practice). Explore the starting places that allow you to stand, walk, dance, skip, & flow.

Wednesday, July 17th, 6:30-8:30 pm: Knees
Weak in the knees? We’ll stabilize, strengthen, and mobilize. The last workshop in this series focuses on a larger, different type of joint: keep your knees safe, happy & supportive for the rest of your body.

Pricing: $40 per class or $95 for all three. See Emrys regarding CE credit.

Angelride Fundraiser Gentle Yoga

This event is cancelled due to lack of sign ups. However, many have approached me to donate to the Angelride which is funding a camp in Union CT that serves children who have experienced severe burn injuries. How great!!!

If you’re interested in dropping a check at the barn, make it out to Angel Charities. I will leave an envelope at the barn near the computer marked ANGELRIDE. Thanks to our RBY student Chaleen, who made us all aware of this and has been riding Angelride for the past 10 years plus!

Spring Flower Bar

What is a flower bar?

Well, it’s like a salad bar, but instead of veggies for your plate, you’re choosing flowers and foliage that appeal so you can create your own arrangement. No experience necessary and there are helpful hands and tips to get you beautiful results. Don’t worry, the flowers are so stunning, they do all the heavy lifting. With a few hints, you’ll see some of the basics of letting the blossoms, vines and greenery come together harmoniously. And because we’re at RBY, we will partake in some mindful breathing and stretching. Cost is $40 and space is limited to 6 flower lovers. All supplies and a vase or mason jar (your choice) provided.
